Mayor appoints Rippavilla Task Force to oversee transition to City operations
Following the Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen’s action Monday to officially acquire Rippavilla Plantation and its related 98 acres, Mayor Rick Graham announced today his appointment of a task force to oversee the transition of this historic property into city operations.
“Our next step for Rippavilla is creating a well thought out bridge of transition to properly and efficiently set up Rippavillaξinto our city services,” Mayor Graham said. “This includes a long-term perspective, direction, funding, budgeting, daily operations, and uses for this gem in our city. A task force is needed for a master plan recommendation to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. I want to thank these folks for volunteering in this important endeavor. We look forward to seeing your recommendations.”
Mayor Graham has asked City of Spring Hill Economic Development Coordinator Kayce Williams to champion the task force, which will include the following members:

Jonathan Duda, former Spring Hill Alderman and Historic Commission member
